ZOOOO-BetaCell-Expert-7B

ZOOOO-BetaCell-Expert-7B is a pancreatic beta-cell expert model fine-tuned from BioMistral/BioMistral-7B.

Training data

This model was trained on an automatically assembled beta-cell focused instruction dataset built from:

• PubMed abstracts (NCBI Entrez)
• UniProt (Swiss-Prot) entries for key proteins (INS, GCK, KCNJ11, ABCC8, SLC2A2, PDX1, NKX6-1)
• KEGG pathways related to insulin secretion and diabetes

Dataset was generated programmatically on 2025-12-30T22:20:51 and saved as JSONL alongside cached sources.

Intended use

Educational and research support: mechanistic explanations of beta-cell structure/function, glucose-stimulated insulin secretion (GSIS), beta-cell stress pathways, and diabetes-related pathophysiology.

Limitations

• The dataset includes abstract-level evidence and pathway summaries; it is not a substitute for full-text review or clinical guidance.
• Outputs may contain inaccuracies or overgeneralizations.
