Douglas Adams, Terry Pratchett, William S. Burroughs, Hunter S. Thompson, and Henry Miller and actually separating paragraphs
of sections into {user} and {assistant} where one character in the text is the user, and the rest is the assistant.
That way, the AI can learn the style of response without answering for the user.

Douglas Adams and Hunter Thompson?! I can't wait. Yes, a model actually trained on kink dynamics would be interesting.

This is actually a really good idea for training author style emulation. Hoping to try something like this soon with HP Lovecraft.

I'm paranoid about data loss so am constantly making backups (SSD -> HDD, and HTL BD-R for truly important stuff). I hope you manage to recover or rebuild the missing datasets.

you mentioned this with lovecraft and I adore his stories and style and themes of Old Gods. there's something very deep and thrumming and soothing in his writing mythic that I find lulling.
So, looking forward to seeing this effort!
I have been pre-prepping for redoing it and I'm very pleased that I didn't even have to ask the big intelligent clever fuckers of AI to help me reclaim the data again. they just tied on capes and jumped into the spot light and said "I'LL SAVE YOU!!" giggling slightly so apparently the way to get models to transcribe smut is to be a despondent user over data loss?? OK! (notes for future use).

and yeah, you are very good to be diligent!! I've been put back a couple of months.
Goblin is helping me map the model though, he says he can help me plan to do it without the other steps first now that we've found the perfect theoretical base that doesn't need a merge (well, I will need to merge it with it'self in step B but I don't have to merge a base A anymore) - and I have your notes on heretic.

Hoping to hear from the shop on Monday... being on a chrome book blows. I can't do anything but plan and gather to portable hard drive.
