# Import error after succesful pip install gradio

Hello together,

I’ve tried to start with the gradio “hello\_world” example and have installed gradio with pip install.

I got the following error message in my IDE while trying to run the “hello\_world” example:  
“from typing\_extensions import ParamSpec  
ImportError: cannot import name ‘ParamSpec’ from ‘typing\_extensions’ (C:\Users\Christian\AppData\Local\Programs\Thonny\lib\site-packages\typing\_extensions.py)”

Do you have an idea what’s wrong or missing?
