# Fail to claim paper authorship

I was claiming the authorship of a paper showing on hf, but got rejected due to the mismatch of email address. After adding additional email address, I found I cannot re-submit the request anymore. The webpage shows I‘ve sent claimed authorship, but the status is always rejected.

Hi @Geralt-Targaryen The authorship of a paper will be matched against your email address - can you please check to make sure there’s a match? It’s possible to add [secondary emails](https://huggingface.co/settings/account) in your account settings if your paper is linked to another email on arXiv.

Yes, the email associated with my huggingface account matches the email in the paper, and also the email associated with my arxiv account. But the authorship claim was rejected.
