# Error message notebook\_login

When I run this cell
from huggingface\_hub import notebook\_login
notebook\_login()
in my jupyter notebook the UI for entering the token. Upon entering the token I get the following error message:

FileNotFoundError: [WinError 2] The system cannot find the file specified
I tired the account login as well, but get the same error message. I tried the following cell:
from huggingface\_hub import HfApi, HfFolder
\_AUTH\_TOKEN = “{my token}”
api = HfApi()
api.set\_access\_token(\_AUTH\_TOKEN)
- HfFolder.save\_token(\_AUTH\_TOKEN)
and get basically the same error message.
When I run
!huggingface-cli login
it doesn’t terminate.
Is there another way to login or am I doing something wrong? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Can you check if you have git installed by running git --version in cmd?
If it doesn’t exist installing that from here: [Git - Downloading Package](https://git-scm.com/download/win) should fix the issue

I have git installed but still I’m getting the same error. Is there any other solution for this?

It’s a bug in Colab, which should be fixed now. You can also use
```auto
!huggingface-cli login
```
as an alternative way of logging in

I restarted my conda env and I’m able to login now, thanks !
