# Create your own writing assistant

### Description
Many email and word processing applications can now automatically detect and correct common grammatical errors as you write. For example, the sentence âI am doing fine. How is you?â might be corrected to âI am doing fine. How are you?â. The goal of this project is to fine-tune a Transformer model to be able to automatically provide these corrections, similar to how [Grammarly](https://www.grammarly.com/?q=brand&utm_source=bing&utm_medium=cpc&utm_campaign=brand_f1&utm_content=sa360test&utm_term=grammarly%2B&matchtype=e&placement=&network=s&&msclkid=5ad0b2d216851d68f932d356506c4bd5&gclid=5ad0b2d216851d68f932d356506c4bd5&gclsrc=3p.ds) does
### Model(s)
This task can be viewed as a sequence-to-sequence task, so models like T5 would be a great starting point
### Datasets

### Challenges
If you use T5, youâll need to define a suitable prefix for the text-to-text task. Youâll also need to think about suitable metrics for the evaluation.
### Desired project outcomes
- Create a Streamlit or Gradio app on [đ¤ Spaces](https://huggingface.co/spaces) that can automatically provide suggestions to improve the grammar of some input text. Check out Grammarly for some inspiration on the visualization side.
- Donât forget to push all your models and datasets to the Hub so others can build on them!

Hey @Modfiededition it seems that your tokenizer is somehow missing files like `tokenizer.json`. What happens if you run `tokenizer.push_to_hub()`?

Actually, I am thankful to you @lewtun and all the huggingface team members for creating this wonderful course. I am only able to build this cool project because of the course. The content is also so easy to understand and I just couldnât stop loading pre-trained models and fine tuning them on different tasks đ

Discordâs channel structure changes occasionally. Itâs probably quite different from four years agoâŚ

Current best practices, as of 2025:
1. Use only the official invite
2. Ignore old instructions that mention `#join-course`
3. Treat `#how-to-access-discord` as the single source of truth
4. Use a clean environment if verification is flaky
If you get errors like âtoo many redirectsâ, âHF account already verifiedâ, or you only ever see `#how-to-access-discord`, do the following: ([Hugging Face Forums](/static-proxy?url=https%3A%2F%2Fdiscuss.huggingface.co%2Ft%2Fjoin-the-hugging-face-discord%2F11263%3Fpage%3D2 "Join the Hugging Face Discord! - Page 2 - Community Calls"))
5. Escalate by DMâing `@lunarflu` if you remain stuck
6. Once access works, join the âgeneralâ and course areas
If you follow this orderâofficial invite â `#how-to-access-discord` instructions â clean-environment retry if needed â DM `@lunarflu` as fallbackâyou are aligned with how Hugging Face themselves currently tell people to join and troubleshoot access.
