# API interface for Text2Text generation task

Hi,

[Documentation](/static-proxy?url=https%3A%2F%2Fapi-inference.huggingface.co%2Fdocs%2Fpython%2Fhtml%2Fdetailed_parameters.html%23text2text-generation-task) for Text2Text generation task mentions adding more options in the future.

I tried Inference API on my encoder/decoder Text2Text generation and I noticed that not all parameters are passed to generate method call. Any updates on task upgrades?
